"Life on the River" is part of a series of Crocodiles. If you have been following my art, you would know how much I am fascinated by hornbills and crocodiles...I picture them living along the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea in a perpetual conversation....this painting is a continuation of this theme, showing a hornbill with his lunch, watching a crocodile planning his own...
