Welcome to the land of the Birds... On the outskirts of this area are Totems,carved by the Villagers,to warn travellers to avoid this sacred area... This painting was from a series completed right after returning from the "California Castaways" Hawaii exhibition tour with Doug Horne,BigToe,and Brad Parker. The vegetation and lighting and atmosphere left quite an impression and i completed these within weeks of returning to the mainland.
The original painting is owned by Ed Rudisell,a fellow avian admirer and one of the owners of the esteemed inferno Room in Indianapolis, a papua New Guinea Paradise
