This was a painting for 2017's "California Castaways" exhibition in Kona Hawaii at the Royal Kona Resort and Kozy's Tiki Palace. The show included Doug Horne,Brad Tikishark Parker,BigToe,and myself bumbling around Hawaii in between exhibitions. This painting style was inspired by designs on a Solomon islands paddle and their legends of Dolmen mixed with some Alex Steinweiss.It Captures the exact tense moment before a jungle ambush....
