Deep in the Jungle there is a secret cave where the bones of the ancestors reside amongst offerings and memorial shields. This was originally slated to be a cover for the now defunct Tiki magazine. I had painted it for an issue where I would have had my second Artist Feature,but the magazine folded before the article and cover could be published....
Fast forward to November 2017 where it was exhibited at Kozy's Tiki palace on the Kona Coast of Hawaii during their first annual Tiki Festival held there.... The exhibit was part of the "California Castaways" tour for our annual Gargantua exhibits with BigToe and Doug Horne. That year's guest artist was the incredibly talented Brad Parker.
