A trio of Hawaiian Tikis gather together in the cool of the Morning. I wonder what theyre discussing? This was from a series of paintings after arriving home from Hawaii in 2017. I had gone there with Doug Horne and BigToe to meetup with Brad Parker for our California Castaways exhibition. The island and the carvings and the VEGETATION were fresh in my mind so I frantically tore thru 6 paintings in an attempt to capture the islands' Heavenly lighting....
